## Professional, Confidential Ultrasounds In Florence, SC
A Choice to Make provides **free, limited obstetrical ultrasounds** for eligible clients in the Florence area after a lab-quality pregnancy test confirms pregnancy.
- **Scans are performed by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)** and are usually available around 6 weeks LMP or later.
- Images are shared on a screen during the visit, and clients can access them later through a secure portal.
- Time is set aside to explain what is seen, discuss fetal development, and talk through options, next steps, and resources in a safe, private space.

### Your Ultrasound Appointment
Plan to **arrive about 15 minutes early** for check-in. A support person is welcome, and the visit takes place in a private, comfortable setting.
Here is what the process usually looks like at A Choice to Make:
- **Check in and review your health history** in a private room so there is space to share concerns and questions.
- **Take a free, lab-quality pregnancy test** with guidance from staff to confirm pregnancy.
- **An RDMS will perform your ultrasound** to estimate gestational age and confirm the viability of pregnancy.
- **Talk through next steps,** including youroptions and available resources.
> Most first ultrasound appointments last about 60 to 90 minutes.
