Professional, Confidential Ultrasounds In Florence, SC

A Choice to Make provides free, limited obstetrical ultrasounds for eligible clients in the Florence area after a lab-quality pregnancy test confirms pregnancy.

  • Scans are performed by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and are usually available around 6 weeks LMP or later.
  • Images are shared on a screen during the visit, and clients can access them later through a secure portal.
  • Time is set aside to explain what is seen, discuss fetal development, and talk through options, next steps, and resources in a safe, private space.
What to expect at

Your Ultrasound Appointment

Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early for check-in. A support person is welcome, and the visit takes place in a private, comfortable setting.

Here is what the process usually looks like at A Choice to Make:

  • Check in and review your health history in a private room so there is space to share concerns and questions.

  • Take a free, lab-quality pregnancy test with guidance from staff to confirm pregnancy.

  • An RDMS will perform your ultrasound to estimate gestational age and confirm the viability of pregnancy.

  • Talk through next steps, including your options and available resources.

Most first ultrasound appointments last about 60 to 90 minutes.
